Americas Got Talent Contestant Skilyr Hicks Dead at 23

Rest In Peace. Skilyr Hicks, who competed on season 8 of America’s Got Talent, died on Monday, December 6, at age 23.

The singer was once found dead in a pal’s home in Liberty, South (*23*), Hicks’ mom, Jodi, told TMZ on Tuesday, December 7. Although her reason behind death is unknown, Jodi went on to tell the hole that her kid struggled with mental health problems and substance abuse.

“She will survive thru her song,” Jodi said, noting that the musician, who's survived via four siblings, loved the usage of her tune to assist other folks in want.
