Fair caution: AnnaLynne McCord’s new film Condition of Return is no simple watch — and he or she was once to begin with reluctant to signal on for the challenge.

In the drama, McCord stars as Eve, a churchgoing girl who carries out a mass taking pictures after making a maintain the devil. Though the nature of the film is “actually heavy,” McCord admits she was inspired to participate in the film — which also stars Dean Cain and Natasha Henstridge — because it serves a bigger goal.
“Right now, it’s going on in our global — we’re dealing with mass shootings,” McCord explains. “Films are supposed to be fun and entertaining, [however] we need to do related films to speak about those problems because these things are taking place.”
As an actress, McCord had to glance past forming her personal critiques about Eve. “To play a villain, you can't judge your persona,” the Nip/Tuck actress stocks. “Playing villains my complete occupation, I’ve discovered one thing: They don’t exist. People do good issues and dangerous issues, and every so often those bad issues are horrible.”
Dealing with her own mental health struggles made McCord want to humanize her persona for the audience. “That’s something that I care about deeply,” she tells Us. “I’ve dealt with suicidality. I’ve talked a lot about my mental health journey. I’m very open about it and I’ve were given to deliver gentle to it.”
Though portraying a lady committing a heinous crime wasn’t McCord’s highest function so far — “It was once in point of fact dark to be inside of her,” she admits — McCord used to be in a position to go away the nature in the back of when cameras went down.
