Ed “Big Ed” Brown printed the breaking point in his engagement with ex-fiancée Liz Woods.
“I’ve identified for a couple of months that it truly wasn’t going to work and I wasn’t in reality glad,” Ed, 59, exclusively informed Us Weekly while speaking about 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?. “The taco pasta night the place Liz kind of lost it like she’s performed before, my sister had never seen that. [My sister] simply gave me that look like, ‘Don’t do it.’”
He persevered, “And what saved reiterating in my head was once something my mother had stated to me, ‘Go forward and marry her, however you’ll be depressing for the rest of your lifestyles.’”
During the April 21 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Liz recalled the on-again, off-again couple getting into an argument after Ed made taco pasta.
“Ed made dinner — taco pasta — but then Ryleigh’s dish was once just way too highly spiced for her, and Ed pretty much instructed her to prevent being a toddler. I don’t respect that, and I known as him out on it,” Liz stated all over a confessional, including that Ed “attacked me again” they usually began “arguing in entrance of his circle of relatives.”
Ed told Us that the morning after their fight — which he dubbed “Pasta Gate” — he had a dialog with his sister and determined he wasn’t going to head via with the wedding.
“So I began texting the venue, telling them I desire a refund. And at that very same time, Liz was once calling and I believed she used to be calling to apologize and she or he didn’t. Ed, who got engaged to Liz in November 2021, admitted that he “surely” has “regrets” in how he handled calling off the wedding.
“I didn’t realize, I thought I had told Liz, but I believe I did, but she didn’t really listen me or she didn’t believe me. And it wasn’t until our officiant reached out to her and mentioned, ‘Look, I’m in reality sorry.’ And that’s when it hit her a ton of bricks that it was over,” he mentioned. “And I’d spoken to him a couple weeks later when I was in San Diego and he’s like, ‘Yeah, when she were given the message she was uncontrollable.’ So that phase in point of fact hurt.”

Ed mentioned that he “wasn’t happy” with how Liz discovered his choice to name off the nuptials, but he famous there’s “no great way” to tell her. Ed added, “So I just had to minimize it off.”
