Cameron Diaz has dated celebrities including Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez, but never thought she’d get married until she started dating her now-husband, Benji Madden, in May 2014.
“[Marriage] was the largest factor I’ve carried out in my 40s, and it opened me up in different ways,” Diaz advised Harper’s Bazaar in May 2016, Sixteen months after she and the rockstar tied the knot. “It’s pretty awesome. I didn’t suppose it was something I’d do, and I don’t know if I’d have performed it if I hadn’t met my husband. It used to be a marvel.”
While the duo’s relationship was unexpected, they briefly became considered one of Hollywood’s strongest couples. “One of my favourite issues about being married, is how much satisfaction I absorb my husband @benjaminmadden… ,” the Other Woman actress captioned a June 2016 Instagram image of Madden functioning on level along with his band, Good Charlotte. “He makes me proud on a regular basis [sic].”
In December 2019, the pair welcomed their first kid, daughter Raddix. “I love being a mom,” Diaz told makeup artist Gucci Westman during an April 2020 episode of the latter’s YouTube series. “It’s the best, absolute best, absolute best a part of my existence. I’m so thankful and so happy and it’s the most productive factor ever, and I’m so fortunate to do it with Benj and we’re having the most productive time. I’m extremely joyful. I will be able to’t imagine it.”

She additionally gave a rare glimpse at what the rocker is like as a dad. “He’s such an awesome father,” she shared. “I’m so fortunate he’s my child’s father. He’s fantastic. He puts her down and I'm going into the kitchen and I pour myself a pleasant glass of pink wine. I start my cooking, I put on my display, whatever it's.”
