Sweet victory. In a preview for the Monday, March 28, episode of Teen Mom 2, Corey Simms learns that he has won number one custody within the struggle with ex-wife Leah Messer over their 6-year-old twins, Aliannah and Aleeah.
“You got just about the entirety you asked for,” lawyer Rusty Webb tells Simms in the sneak peek. “You’re going to be number one caretaker, number one prison custodian. [Leah] no longer has the verdict making, it’s shared now. So you each have to share it.”
As seen on season 6 of the MTV series, Simms wanted more custody of the daughters he shares with Messer, 23, after she allegedly repeatedly failed to bring them to college on time and neglected vital doctor’s appointments for Aliannah, who suffers from a unprecedented type of muscular dystrophy.
“We had been hoping that if she best has in the future to take them to college, she can get them to school in time the sooner or later per week that she has them,” Webb explains to Simms within the clip. “So you’ve were given them Monday thru Friday. She’s got them Friday through Monday.”
Upon listening to the scoop, the truth character is nearly speechless. Holding again tears, he tells his lawyer that he and his spouse, Miranda, “understood that we wouldn’t in point of fact have a amusing time —that is the laborious time.”
