David Letterman Publicly Apologizes to Wife During Show Taping

David Letterman apologized to his wife, Regina Lasko, whilst taping his first communicate show since pronouncing remaining Thursday that he'd had sex with female staff, Usmagazine.com confirms.

"She has been horribly hurt by my behavior," Letterman stated to his target audience, "and when something happens like that, if you hurt a person and it's your responsibility, you try to fix it. Stephanie Birkitt, 34, was named as the woman at the center of the scandal. Reports have connected her to each Letterman and Halderman, who pleaded no longer to blame to grand larceny, and was launched from prison Friday on $200,000 bail.
