The Kelce family will probably be celebrating Thanksgiving this year without the vacation’s most iconic dish — a turkey.
“We normally just cross get a ham,” Donna Kelce completely advised Us Weekly while selling her partnership with Ancestry®. “I’m now not specifically fond of turkey.”
While Donna, 71, claimed she’s “not a good cooker,” she noted the circle of relatives’s Thanksgiving menu will feature a number of scrumptious baked goods.

The holidays could be a “tough” time of year for many people, and Donna noted that’s very true “when your kids are in sports activities,” as her sons are. “You’re now not house so much throughout the holidays,” she explained. “We would travel a lot. We could be in Florida, St. Augustine, visiting kin, Disney [World], Marco Island and Fort Myers. [Jason and Travis’] grandparents [and] uncles, were in Florida, so we constantly went to Florida for the vacations.”
Heading into this holiday season, Donna is giving thanks for the entire individuals who helped Jason and Travis succeed in their athletic goals whilst ensuring the brothers stayed down-to-earth.
“They had extra special coaches, unbelievable academics, great supportive households that have been round us as a result of we traveled so much [for] baseball, football — actually nice folks which are nonetheless friends to this day, for me,” Donna informed Us. “And I feel it was a menagerie of all the ones folks with all the ones great qualities that rubbed off on them thru all the ones years, and I’m just very, very happy that they got those opportunities and they was the boys that they are.”
Keeping her family’s vacation traditions alive is one thing Donna is worked up to do through her new partnership with Ancestry®. “They’ve were given the facility with the intention to add photos and recipes and such things as that, which truly intrigued me, and that’s why I made up our minds to be in partnership with them,” she told Us. “And just even audio stories, too, for future generations. So, that used to be truly necessary.”
