'Friends' Famous Wedding Episode Included a Nod to Jennifer Aniston

The One With the Name Connection! The season 7 finale of Friends is a fan-favorite for plenty of causes: Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Monica (Courteney Cox) get married, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) must handle a drunk actor (visitor famous person Gary Oldman) and the world reveals out Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) is pregnant.

However, there used to be a giant connection to Aniston’s heritage that fans seemed to leave out — until now. In the episode, titled “The One with Chandler and Monica’s Wedding,” Rachel is tasked with finding any individual to officiate Monica and Chandler’s wedding when Joey gets caught at paintings. She then stumbles throughout a Greek Orthodox wedding happening at the similar lodge. Outside the ceremony, a sign reads “Anastasakis Papasifakis Wedding.”
