You never put out of your mind a physician’s final day on Grey’s Anatomy. The Shonda Rhimes medical drama hasn't ever shied away from killing off fan favorites — both actually and figuratively.
Most just lately, Justin Chambers, who played surgeon Alex Karev for Sixteen seasons, announced his departure from the collection, and the good-bye is sure to go away fans devastated.
“There’s no good time to say goodbye to a display and character that’s outlined such a lot of my lifestyles for the previous 15 years,” the 49-year-old actor said in statement to Deadline on January 10. “For some time now, on the other hand, I have was hoping to diversify my performing roles and profession alternatives. And, as I flip 50 and am blessed with my exceptional, supportive spouse and five superb kids, now is that point.”
“As I transfer on from Grey’s Anatomy, I need to thank the ABC family, Shonda Rhimes, authentic forged participants Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens, and the rest of the amazing cast and workforce, each past and present, and, in fact, the lovers for an odd journey,” he concluded.

Charming as he was once — and as perfect for one another they could had been — Denny had congestive middle failure. It was only a topic of time till the writers killed him off.
Denny proposed to Izzie right after you have a heart transplant, but later that evening he developed a blood clot and died of a stroke. “An hour in the past he was once proposing,” Izzie says in the heartbreaking scene. Surrounded by her peers, she lays at the mattress beside him, refusing to leave. “And now he’s going to the morgue. Isn’t that ridiculous?”
