Girl dad! Jamie Foxx is the ultimate supporter of his two daughters, Corinne and Anelise — even if they’re no longer with him.
The Oscar winner welcomed his eldest kid, Corinne, in February 1994 with ex-girlfriend Connie Kline.
The Django Unchained actor become a father for the second one time when his daughter, Anelise, used to be born in October 2008. He stocks his youngest kid with ex-girlfriend Kristin Grannis.
Over the years, Foxx has mirrored on being a girl dad, detailing what it's like to peer his youngsters grow up into young women.
“Your daughters are particular, man. Your daughters are particular. And as a father you want that one who is relationship your daughter to understand that there will slightly perhaps be a possibility that they won’t live to tell the tale existence,” the Law Abiding Citizen star joked throughout an April 2021 appearance on E!’s Daily Pop.
Foxx teased that making his children’ potential suitors apprehensive is part of his job as he recalled assembly one among Corinne’s formative years flames.
“First of all, I’m a non-public eye and so by the time [Corinne] were given the person there, I already knew the whole lot about him,” he mentioned of his eldest kid’s first date. “This is so surreal, Snoop [Dogg] was once at my space. So she brings the man through, to the crib, and I say, ‘Yo Snoop, there he's proper there. Shake him up.’”
The In Living Color alum remembered the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper telling the boy, “Hey, what’s up, nephew? You perceive what’s occurring at this time?”
While Foxx’s shenanigans haven’t kept him from having a detailed bond with Corinne, his tactics did encourage her 2021 Netflix series, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! The display was impressed through the fashion’s youth and featured Foxx as one of the most actors.
“From being a flower girl on The Jamie Foxx Show to cohosting Beat Shazam in combination to now writing and producing a Netflix show about our lives, I couldn’t ask for a greater person to navigate this business with,” the former Miss Golden Globes wrote via Instagram in December 2020. “But more importantly, I couldn’t ask for a greater father to steer me, support me and always have my again. There’s so a lot more to come from us. I hope the sector is ready for it. I really like you Dad ❤️.”
