Jason Biggs recalled once being so addicted to alcohol that he was still drinking when attending counseling — and hiding it from his spouse, Jenny Mollen.
“I’m going to remedy and ‘running on things,’ however in the meantime I’m leaving treatment, having simply had a just right session, and I’m going to the liquor store and purchasing a 5th of vodka, consuming it and then using house,” Biggs, 45, confessed at the Wednesday, March 27, episode of Mollen’s “All That Fails” podcast.
Upon listening to Bigg’s story, Mollen, 44, couldn’t consider she never discovered her husband used to be suffering so much to give up the substance at that time.
“I was married to this man? This is so bizarre to me. These are the issues that, like, surprise me. How did I now not notice?” she requested in disbelief.
The former American Pie big name then spread out concerning the sneaky techniques he would in finding to drink with out Mollen ever noticing.
“I knew how to get wasted enough to where I took myself out of the life equation, took myself out of the present, didn’t have to attach in a way that made me really feel issues,” Biggs defined to his spouse. “It used to be all science. I had it discovered to a T, but not get too inebriated where I couldn’t have a dialog with you.”
He admitted that if he informed Mollen some examples of things he used to do to keep her off his trail, she would almost definitely be ready to look back and connect the dots.
“You know, I could let you know issues that possibly you could possibly move, ‘Oh I assume…’ but you just didn’t know to search for it,” Biggs noted.
Mollen was once curious to know what she neglected, so she asked the actor to give her more main points.
“Most of the ones bottles, I was changing those bottles in the bar all the time,” Biggs admitted. “All the time,” to which Mollen’s confessed she used to be shocked.
This isn’t the first time Biggs has spoken about his downfall with alcohol. In 2018, he spread out about his struggles while celebrating twelve months of sobriety.
“I first attempted to get sober over 5 years in the past, when the weight of my obsession with booze and drugs was too heavy for me to maintain. Turns out this shit is hard,” Biggs wrote by means of Instagram on the time. “After some fits and begins, I’ve managed to put together twelve months of sobriety. I’m as pleased with it as the rest in my existence.”
