
Josh Hartnett was once thrilled his cameo on The Bear wasn’t leaked sooner than the new season dropped — and he's giving Chicago a large number of the credit score.
“I felt like the city of Chicago used to be truly protecting of The Bear,” Hartnett, 45, told The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, July 3. “People there love that display, and it feels like it’s an unwritten rule that you don’t spoil it.”
Hartnett famous how thankful he was once that his scenes weren’t spoiled ahead of time, including, “Nobody who is on the show needs to ruin it. It’s so much more a laugh to have that last-minute expose.”
After being cast as Tiffany’s (Gillian Jacobs) fiancé, Frank, Hartnett did his best to keep the news a secret. He recalled simplest telling his parents “because they love the display,” in addition to a few buddies, joking, “Who am I actually going to tell?”
Hartnett also published that he signed on to the show “before” he read a single script. “I said sure instantly,” he said, regarding his friendship with The Bear’s author, Chris Storer, as his motivation.
The highlight of the procedure for Hartnett was seeing the bond between cast members such as Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
“I have to say that they have got such a lot a laugh making that display,” he endured. “It shouldn’t be called paintings. Actors just come to set and hang around even on their days off. It looks like a bunch of pals creating a display at university or one thing. Yet it’s this exceptional success.”
The 3rd season of The Bear used to be released overdue last month and featured cameos from several familiar faces corresponding to Joel McHale, Will Poulter, Jamie Lee Curtis, John Mulaney and Olivia Colman returning in minor roles.
Hartnett, however, wasn’t the handiest surprise appearance. John Cena was introduced as Fak’s (Matty Matheson) brother Sammy midway thru the season.

Before the season was once released, Matheson, 42, recalled several story strains being leaked after lovers saw the cast filming in different parts of Chicago.
“It’s a kind of things the place we are in public from time to time and I feel it’s a little bit traumatic,” Matheson exclusively informed Us Weekly in March. “But we’re in a city that we like and people occur to stroll through. And they stroll via the second we are out of doors.”

Matheson, who could also be an executive manufacturer on the display, wasn’t too involved through the data that were given out.
“I feel maybe we will be able to be a little bit more secretive,” he noted. “Maybe not just stand outside all in combination. But we’re all such excellent friends that it seems chill to be honest.”
The Bear is recently streaming on Hulu.
