Katy Perry Reflects on Pregnancy With Daughter Daisy Dove

Katy Perry incessantly prefers to stay her daughter, Daisy Love Bloom, out of the highlight.

But the arriving of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, sparked a second of delight as the singer, 39, took to social media to gush about expecting the coming of her 3-year-old.

Perry took to Instagram to submit a carousel of pictures and videos including a snap of her pregnancy check, her growing bump, the instant she shared the news with fiancé Orlando Bloom, a clip from a pregnancy ultrasound and a video that confirmed the moment she shared the inside track with her American Idol co-judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

“Today I informed my mother that the day I realized how a lot she beloved me is the day I had my very own daughter, Daisy Dove,” Perry captioned the Mother’s Day post. “There is nothing like a Mother’s love. Never take it without any consideration. Happy Mother’s Day to the entire moms and caretakers — any approach you come back.”

She also captioned each of the images and the 2 clips.

Perry wrote, “1. Og pee stick! 2. Telling O I was pregnant (he used to be filming in Prague) 3. Telling my brothers @lukebryan @lionelrichie the big news on set in Hawaii at #idol 4. Hearing Daisy’s heartbeat for the primary time 5-10: Some bump pics from earlier than I met my Daisy Dove.”

The “Firework” hitmaker gave birth to her daughter in August, 2020 and announced her child’s arrival into the world by way of UNICEF, an organization of which Perry and Bloom, 47, serve as Goodwill Ambassadors.

The duo, who got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019, wrote in a press release on its web page, “We are floating with love and wonder from the secure and healthy arrival of our daughter.

“But we all know we’re the lucky ones and not everybody can have a birthing revel in as non violent as ours was. Communities world wide are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare employees and every 11 seconds a pregnant woman or new child dies, mostly from preventable causes. As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with suffering oldsters now greater than ever.”

In November 2023, Perry celebrated the final show of her Las Vegas residency, titled “Play,” with her little woman in particular person, providing her a shout-out from the stage all over her live performance.

“Daisy! I like you so much,” Perry known as out to her daughter, who was dressed as Minnie Mouse, in keeping with fan photos. “You’re my best possible friend. I’m so satisfied you’re here.”
