Kirstie Alley used to be a proud mom of two previous to her December 2022 death, after adopting her two children with ex-husband Parker Stevenson.
The Cheers alum — who married Stevenson in 1983 — first became a parent in 1992, adopting son William. The twosome — who cut up in 1997 — adopted daughter Lillie two years later.
“They’re very bodily; they’re shifting all the time, they usually consume good, healthy, natural food. I tell them, ‘I know you need to be gorgeous and good-looking. Beauty and handsomeness first come from being satisfied, and 2d, from being wholesome,’” Alley informed Good Housekeeping in a May 2007 profile, noting there used to be “not anything higher” than staring at films from her bed along her children and 8 dogs.
While the It Takes Two actress — who used to be prior to now married to high school sweetheart Bob Alley between 1970 and 1977 — stored her kids out of the highlight, her circle of friends could tell she was a devoted parent.
“Kirstie all the time has her kids with her,” Kathy Najimy, who starred opposite the late actress on Veronica’s Closet, gushed to Good Housekeeping on the time. “And she’s the type of mother you need as a result of she’s in reality amusing. Last time we had been over, [Kirstie] jumped into the pool with her garments on. … Instead of shopping for Lillie a dollhouse, she’ll construct a dollhouse that’s large enough for 3 people. She doesn’t wreck her children, she just does things in a grand approach.”
The Dancing With the Stars alum’s family grew when William welcomed his first child, son Waylon Tripp, with his wife, Sarah Parker, in June 2016.
“When your son has a son…bliss,” Kirstie announced the happy news via Twitter at the time, sharing a photo of William cuddling his baby boy. “Yes this is my secret glad information as promised …Welcome Waylon Tripp Parker.”
The Emmy Award winner continued to share grandparent memories via her social media account. “Dear True, my grandson could use smaller diapers …love, Gammy,” she penned an open be aware by means of Twitter in August 2016. In the snap, Waylon wore nothing but an outsized diaper.
Kirstie later welcomed two more grandchildren into the family.
“My gorgeous daughter is soon to have a child boy. This will make my third grand kid ..:),” she wrote by the use of Twitter in March 2021. “I’m blessed w 2 superior youngsters and now a third grand child.”
Lillie gave birth the following July and saved her toddler’s name private.

Kirstie died nearly four months later on the age of 71, surrounded by means of her brood.
