Kris Jenner’s most effective sibling, Karen Houghton, died on Monday, March 18. She was 65.
“It is with the heaviest heart and inner most unhappiness that I share that my sister Karen passed away the day gone by unexpectedly,” Jenner, 68, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, March 19. “My center aches for my mom MJ and my niece Natalie and I pray that God guides us all over this difficult time.”
The Kardashians celebrity sang her past due sister’s praises, calling her sibling “gorgeous inside and outside” and the “sweetest, kindest, probably the most sensitive and susceptible and so so funny” individual.
“She at all times felt grateful and grateful for her life and treasured her friends and family and particularly her stunning daughter,” Jenner continued. “She holds the sort of large part of my heart and I cherish each single memory we've in combination.”
The reality megastar added: “Karen’s passing is a reminder that life is so quick and treasured, and the following day is rarely promised. We should inform those we cherish how much we like them. I love you my gorgeous sister.”
Jenner shared a chain of throwback photos with Karen through the years, together with one snap of Karen hugging a young Rob Kardashian. Karen smiled with a tender Kourtney Kardashian in a 2d image from Jenner’s archives.
Another image showed the sisters with Jenner’s late ex-husband, Robert Kardashian Sr., and Kris and Karen’s mom, Mary Jo “MJ” Houghton.
The Houghton ladies posed in front of the Christmas tree in a distinct snap, which gave the look to be from the ‘80s in accordance with their taste.
Jenner grew up in southern California together with her sister, Karen, and parents, MJ and Robert True “Bob” Houghton, who died in 1975.
Karen married Mark Zettel in 1996. They divorced in 2002 after six years of marriage. Karen is survived by means of the exes’ one daughter, Natalie Zettel, and her fiancé, Noah.

Jenner, in the meantime, wed Robert in 1978 and so they welcomed four children: Kourtney, 44, Kim, Khloé and Rob, 37. The pair divorced in 1991 and remained close until Robert’s loss of life in 2003.
Kris married Caitlyn Jenner in 1991 they usually later welcomed daughters Kendall and Kylie prior to divorcing in 2013. Kris has been courting Corey Gamble since 2014.
Following Karen’s passing, Khloé hinted at the loss by way of her Instagram Story on Tuesday. “Kneeling to pray is what's going to give you the energy to stand,” she shared at the time. Karen’s daughter has but to publicly remark on the demise.
