Sneaky sneaky! Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson secretly tied the knot back in June, TMZ reports.
The Olympic athlete and Johnson married on June 13 in Paradise Valley, Arizona, the website online reviews, and the quiet ceremony was officiated through Phelps’ longtime friend and agent, Peter Carlisle.
The pair were given their marriage license on June 9 and filed their file of marriage on June 15.
Although the couple have yet to publicly divulge they’re indeed married, Johnson hinted at their special occasion on Twitter on June 13, the similar day as their rite.
"Such a memorable night with my lil fambam,” she captioned a photo of herself with Phelps and their son, Boomer, now 5 months. In the snap, the trio were all dressed low-key in sportswear.
The most-decorated Olympian, 31, popped the question to Johnson in February 2015, and in May they welcomed their first child.
In August, when Phelps ended his record-breaking career with a 23rd gold medal during the Rio Olympics, Johnson gushed about planning their wedding — despite having already tied the knot!

“We have a date,” she advised Access Hollywood on August 11. “It’ll be small and intimate for the wedding, after which we’re throwing a large bash for everybody in the States. We’re kind of getting things rolling. I’ve been planning as we’ve been main as much as this. I believe I have the marriage in order. Now it’s directly to the party for the joys!”
