AboutBorn in November 1973, in Harlan, Kentucky, Nick Lachey attended the Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts, where he met his fellow 98 Degrees bandmates — together with brother Drew Lachey. As creator and lead vocalist, Lachey helped his band promote more than 10 million albums.
Nick married Jessica Simpson in 2002, the similar year 98 Degrees took their first hiatus. The pair’s relationship was the centerpiece of the MTV truth display Newlyweds, which ran from 2002 to 2005. Nick additionally gave the impression as a recurring character within the collection Charmed from 2004 to 2005.
Nick and Simpson filed for divorce in December 2005. After their split, Nick tried his hand at a solo music profession. His 2006 album, What’s Left of Me, is in large part inspired via his breakup with Simpson.
Nick married Vanessa Lachey in 2011 and the twosome welcomed sons Phoenix, Brooklyn and daughter Brooklyn in 2012, 2015, 2016, respectively. Vanessa and Nick have been the hosts on the Netflix reality display Love Is Blind since 2020 and The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On since 2022.
