Oscars: Stars Bringing Family Members Over the Years

A family affair! Jonah Hill, Jared Leto and extra celebrities have walked the Oscars purple carpet with their folks and siblings.

The 22 Jump Street celebrity brought his mother, Sharon Lyn, to the Academy Awards in 2014. “She’s flirting with Bradley [Cooper], Channing [Tatum], and everyone,” the actor joked with ABC at the time. “It’s roughly a disaster.”

Lyn chimed in, “He’s so adorable!”

Earlier that very same month, the Los Angeles native told David Letterman that the fashion dressmaker had “gotten a bit over excited with the satisfaction” in her son’s good fortune.

“My mother saw Woody Allen,” the Maniac alum mentioned. “[She] walked up to Woody Allen, certainly one of my all-time heroes. She said, ‘Hi Woody, great to look you. I’m Jonah Hill’s mother.’”

As for Leto, the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman’s 2014 Oscar dates have been his mom, Constance Leto, and older brother Shannon Leto. The singer gave his mother a candy shoutout whilst accepting his Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his work in Dallas Buyers Club at the time.

“In 1971, Bossier City, Louisiana, there was once a teenage girl who was once pregnant with her 2d child,” the Suicide Squad famous person stated onstage. “She was once a highschool dropout and a unmarried mother, but one way or the other she managed to make a greater life for herself and her children. She encouraged her children to be creative, to work arduous and to do something special. That lady is my mother and she or he’s right here tonight. And I simply wish to say, I love you, Mom. Thank you for teaching me to dream.”

Eight years later, the Louisiana local printed that his trophy was once missing. “You know, I found out that it’s been lacking for, like three years, and I didn’t know that,” Jared informed James Corden in January 2021. “I don’t suppose someone sought after to tell me. It could be someplace, but everyone’s searched for it high and low. I hope it’s in just right palms anyplace it is. We haven’t seen it for moderately some time.”
