Bittersweet. Prince’s 2d ex-wife, Manuela Testolini, set plans in motion to build a school in honor of the iconic musician before his dying. In fact, she reached out to Prince days in the past to expose the scoop.
“My center aches that the school will now be built in his memory,” Testolini instructed Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, April 21. “[It’s a] devastating feeling of pain and loss.”
Testolini hopes to start a campaign for the school soon. She additionally hasn’t decided at the location, including that she wishes that Prince may have selected for her.

Prince, who died at the age of 57 on Thursday, used to be married to Testolini from 2001 to 2006. (He divorced backup dancer Mayte Garcia in 2000 after 4 years of marriage.)
Testolini, now married to R&B singer Eric Benet, also unfolded about her previous romance with the “Purple Rain” singer. “Prince and I had a magical journey in combination, and I liked him immensely. I knew him as a husband, buddy and fierce philanthropist. Philanthropy introduced us in combination, and it used to be Prince that encouraged me to begin my own charity over 10 years in the past,” she advised ET.
“The love we shared, the tune he made, and our lifestyles together is eternally engraved in my middle,” she endured. “I will be able to all the time love and admire him. I am heartbroken beyond phrases.”
