Renee Rapp and Megan Thee Stallion Drop Not My Fault From Mean Girls

In the first preview of the cinematic adaptation of the Mean Girls musical, Megan, 28, teamed up with Rapp, 23, for “Not My Fault.” The song sees Rapp and the “Cobra” rapper remodel a famous line Lindsay Lohan’s character, Cady Heron, delivered to Janis Ian (Lizzy Caplan) in the original 2004 film, turning it from an accusation to a “scorching woman” declaration.

“It’s no longer my fault / You came along with her however she may leave with me / It’s no longer my fault / You’ve gotta pay for what I get free of charge,” sings Rapp in the beginning of the monitor, which dropped on Friday, December 15. “Get her number, get her name / Get a excellent factor whilst you'll / Kiss a blonde (kiss a blonde), kiss a chum (OK) / Can a gay lady get an ‘amen?’”

When Megan is available in, she continues to play with the track’s theme on her verse. “I imply, who wouldn’t wanna be in love with me? / I’m a temper, borin’ whores gotta Pinterest me,” she raps. Rapp, in the meantime, sported a black thong bodysuit with semi-transparent pink stockings. “Meg informed me to place my ass out so I put my ass out,” Rapp quippedvia X (previously Twitter).

At the start of December, McAdams, 45, praised Rapp, telling Entertainment Tonight she thinks the Broadway star is “superb.” McAdams also mentioned she’s “excited to look [Rapp’s] incarnation” of Regina. “It’s this type of great personality,” McAdams added. “It’s such a lot amusing to play. I am hoping she has a good time with it. I will’t wait to peer it.”
