Married guy! Marques Houston and Miya Dickey tied the knot on Monday, August 24, Us Weekly solely confirms.
The bride, 19, and the groom, 39, exchanged vows at Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona, California. Their small visitor list amid the COVID-19 pandemic integrated Houston’s Immature bandmates, Jerome Jones and Kelton Kessee, and recording artist MAJOR., who made a surprise look to sing Dickey’s favorite track, “Why I Love You.”
The couple’s marriage ceremony adopted a surprise quarantine bridal shower amid the coronavirus pandemic for Dickey on July 25, which featured friends joining just about and sending gifts.

Houston then explained he met his now-wife at a “Jehovah’s Witness conference” in 2018 after she “became pals” along with his manager Chris Stokes’ daughter, Chrissy.
“Miya is sort of a daughter to Chris Stokes as a result of we're all like circle of relatives. Being a Jehovah’s Witness, we all exhibit true love like family. That’s it,” he endured, noting that he didn’t start dating Dickey until “she used to be an adult.”
According to the Sacrifice actor, his family and “and the folks I am closest to all love her as well” despite the age discrepancy between the couple.
“Most importantly we've Jehovah’s blessing,” Houston added. “So to all of the rumors about me, none of it is true! And that’s the story. No twists, no turns, no scandals, simply true love. There is nothing that may come to mild, as a result of there’s no darkness in my existence.”
The couple got engaged in March 2019 after 5 months of dating. “She stated ‘YES,’” the manufacturer captioned a photograph of the couple’s palms intertwined at the time — appearing off Dickey’s engagement ring.
