Sharing their stories. Ashley Mitchell fanatics were stuck off guard during the Wednesday, November 10, episode of The Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies, when host TJ Lavin introduced that the two-time champ would be going home.
“Ashley has broken one in all our rules. Because of that, Ashley is no longer able to stay in the game. She has been deactivated,” the athlete, 44, mentioned throughout the episode. “She is now not ready to proceed in this game for the remainder of the season.”
After the episode aired, Mitchell, 34, took to Twitter. “Rules are rules and I appreciate @mtv and TJs call. The absolute best apology is changed behavior. See you subsequent time. I simply need to thank everybody whose stuck with me through out this all,” she wrote on the time. “Everyone is aware of I’m simplest mad at myself and it has been so hard to shake off the despair and anxiousness since getting house. I've been taking anger management and reflecting a lot. I like you yall such a lot.”
Devin Walker, who stars on the present season of The Challenge alongside Mitchell, spoke out following the mysterious elimination, first sharing his remarks via Instagram Story.
“Notice NOT A SINGLE PERSON including Amanda [Garcia] is coming to Ashley’s protection about why she was once deactivated?” Walker, 32, posted on Friday, November 12. “Think maybe that’s for a explanation why? Think perhaps a troll account with Ashley’s face because the profile pic isn’t a just right source of correct information? Josh [Martinez]/ myself/ Logan [Sampedro]/ anyone else had not anything to do with the repercussions of her hurtful, ignorant and erroneous actions.”
He elaborated additional on the topic all over the Monday, November 15, episode of the “Challenge Mania” podcast.
“The truth does no longer topic incessantly, anymore. We have, as a society, put the reality to the aspect. We have as an alternative long gone on feelings. ‘How are you feeling?’ That is the truth. That’s what if truth be told is going on,” the Are You the One? alum, 32, shared on the time. “Right now, a large number of people are feeling disillusioned that they don’t have all the data however it sort of feels to them, by what they’ve pieced together, that Ashley used to be kicked off the show not for violence, but only for announcing issues. Then they return during the years of the display and so they’re like, ‘Well this particular person said this, this particular person stated this, they weren’t kicked off. This seems unfair. This turns out like she’s being centered, perhaps because she’s a woman.’ I will guarantee you that isn't the case.”
Walker then defined that he feels the “situation used to be remedied the correct method,” via the community.
“That used to be gonna transform much worse and it used to be gonna develop into a lot more poisonous. From the beginning of the season, I realized one thing just a little off with Ashley and I believe it probably would had been just right for her to possibly take a ruin or just to loosen up. The network has not commented on the reason for Mitchell’s elimination, but that hasn’t stopped the cast from chiming in.
