Since its debut in 2006, Top Chef has crowned a chain of champions across the world — and presentations no signs of slowing down.
Each season, the truth display auditions a series of chefs in a new location which serves because the theme. Typically, at least 12 cooks finally end up competing in opposition to one every other to vying for the name of Top Chef.
The team competes in Quickfire Challenges in each episode and if they don’t impress the judges — Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons — they should face an Elimination Challenge with a view to make it to the finals. The final 3 standing make a full-course meal and whoever has the most efficient meal takes home the money prize of $250,000.
Many of the shows’ winners have long past on to open their very own restaurants whilst others have ventured into the leisure realm via visitor judging — and even hosting — on the Bravo cooking show and even a number of Food Network collection.
