Us has your first look at Justin Hartley and Jensen Ackles playing estranged brothers — and it doesn’t disappoint.
In Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip from the impending episode, airing on Sunday, May 12, audience are introduced to Colter’s (Hartley) infamous older brother, Russell (Ackles). The duo are having lunch with Reenie (Fiona Rene) sooner than she has to take off.
“Alright, I've a lot going on at work. You guys, have fun and watch out,” Colter’s coworker says. “I will catch up with you later.”
Russell takes an obvious interest in Reenie. “So I’m going to want a situation update on you and her. Because I believe she is spectacular,” he tells Colter. “You pronouncing she’s truthful recreation?”
Colter appears less than thrilled with Russell’s questions, including, “No situation to report. [But] I’m saying she’s off limits.”
The siblings have a short lived stare off earlier than Russell breaks the strain. “You certain?” he asks. “[I used to be] just messing with you.”
Since Tracker debuted on CBS in February, fans had been slowly finding out about Colter’s issues with Russell. Colter has hinted all over the primary season that he was once on the outs with Russell as a result of he concept his older brother used to be responsible for their father’s death.
According to the synopsis for Sunday’s episode, Colter is now “forced to team up” with Russell, who wishes his assist tracking down a former army friend who went lacking after several weeks of paranoid behavior. The investigation leads to Colter and Russell digging into “Special Forces missions, shady off-the-books techniques and conspiracy theories.” They may also have to handle past occasions that brought about the continuing rift between them.
Ackles’ highly anticipated Tracker debut comes less than a month after Hartley, 47, announced the news.
“It’s been a super reaction, we’re thrilled and over the moon. I have just a little bit of stories for you. We’ve been speaking about Russell Shaw, my brother, all season, [with] this family drama that’s been happening between Colter and Russell,” Hartley stated by way of Instagram on April 25. “We finally came up with what I feel is the very best casting choice. This person knocks it out of the park every time.”

“When it was time to solid Russell Shaw, I used to be like, ‘We constructed this whole thing up. It’s important that we get someone in there that is just a juggernaut. Hartley also confirmed that Ackles, 46, is “gonna come again” for extra episodes in season 2.
