In May 2014, Us Weekly broke the news that Bilson used to be expecting her first kid with Hayden Christensen. While filming the fourth and ultimate season of The CW’s Hart of Dixie, the actress originally hid her baby bump before the sequence altered the tale so her persona Zoe Hart could get pregnant with Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel).
Bilson’s costar Jaime King gushed about getting to see her friend prepare for motherhood. “I was freaking out! I knew she wanted a baby, she sought after it so badly,” the style solely told Us that same month. “I feel as a result of I was the primary one pregnant at the series she were given to look a large number of what that was once like. Her highest good friend has a child and he or she has a large number of buddies with youngsters, so I’m simply there to fortify her alternatively I will be able to and honor and admire her processes.”
King, who played Lemon Breeland in Hart of Dixie, reflected on her own attempts to hide her baby bump on set.
“I shot till the day sooner than I gave beginning, actually, then went back six weeks later — it used to be gnarly!” she shared on the time. “But the blessing was once by doing what I care to do it kept me distracted and it saved me active and healthy.”
The Nebraska local added: “We’re now not doing that with Rachel, I think we’re going to have more time earlier than. I feel adore it’s a in point of fact celebratory time. I’m truly overjoyed and happy that she’s going to be in this next adventure of her lifestyles.”
After Hart of Dixie were given a shortened episode order for season 4, it was once introduced that the collection was canceled. Bilson later addressed fan claims that she was once the reason why the long-running show came to an end.
