It’s laborious for the target audience to not see that Elizabeth Chambers and the forged of Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise are filming two different displays.
While Elizabeth, 41, is predominantly focused at the opening of her BIRD Bakery company’s first location in Grand Cayman, the Freeform collection also stars Selita Ebanks, Courtney McTaggart, Chelsea Flynn, Craig Jervis, Connor Bunney, Cass Lacelle, Julian Foster, Aaron Bernardo, Teri Bilewitch, Dillon Claassens, Victoria Coleman and Trevor Coleman.
During an unique interview with Us Weekly, the entire cast offered their perspective on the division between the forged — and how that affected filming.
“I think like each and every episode brings its personal little twist and switch. Some people could be cool on this episode [whilst on the] subsequent episode, somebody would possibly hate each different. It’s a roller-coaster,” Aaron, 40, teased to Us. “And we undergo it. It’s real existence. So we might be cool today and something would possibly happen the next day.”
Aaron called the ups and downs between the cast no longer simply “entertaining” however “natural” as well, adding, “This is us. So it’s actual existence issues [and] real island issues.”

One divide on display within the first few episodes of the show is willingness to discuss Elizabeth’s ex-husband, Armie Hammer. While Elizabeth documented highlights in her profession, the remainder of the Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise solid was asked about the high-profile split. The drama were given even messier when Armie’s first interview about the accusations of rape, mutilation and cannibalism broke because the cameras have been rolling.
“We really didn’t know so much going into it. And when the tale broke, I wasn’t in point of fact certain what to think. [When] I don’t have all the facts, I try to stay away from commenting as much as conceivable in the beginning,” Trevor, 34, defined to Us about his and spouse Victoria’s reactions. “But we’re at the display and it came up, so you kind of need to form an opinion.”
Based on the trailer, the space between the forged and Elizabeth remains the same throughout the season – something Cass, 32, and Craig, also 32, hinted at all over her joint interview with Us.
“You will have to watch the display to look,” Craig mentioned ahead of joking, “It’s now not a just right get started needless to say. [Elizabeth] has an extended strategy to cross [with the solid]. Maybe [in] season 15.”
So a long way viewers have simplest noticed Elizabeth proportion the display screen with Cass and her pal Julian.

“There’s without a doubt somewhat of power and it was more or less coming from a spot of being very good pals with Elizabeth and getting really with regards to her and how that comradeship evolves,” Julian instructed Us. “Then being really as regards to everyone else in the team, I more or less sought after to ensure that everyone was once getting alongside and that proved relatively difficult, which you’ll see.”
Julian added: “It’s all the time exhausting whilst you’re looking to do one thing for somebody who doesn’t essentially need that. So [that was once] surely a lesson.”
Selita, 41, meanwhile, was once pleased with her determination to stay “original” no matter what. “I did not care to incorporate myself into that messiness. I don’t have a private relationship with Elizabeth to have a say or the rest like that,” she noted about the drama addressed on screen. “And also, I just think that I've 1,000,000 different issues occurring.”
As for Chelsea, she was one of the most solid members who wasn’t extremely joyful that Elizabeth “didn’t show up” to crew outings.

“This is a small place and other folks respect authenticity right here. Respect is this sort of big factor on an island like this,” Chelsea instructed Us. “You’ve were given to respect the people. You’ve got to respect the tradition. You’ve were given to appreciate the island.”
Elsewhere within the display, Courtney, 34, claimed Elizabeth accused her by the use of a faux Instagram account of being one in every of Armie’s mistresses. Courtney denied the accusations on the show and in a clip from the trailer, Elizabeth mentioned she wasn’t the individual behind the fake accounts.
“We weren’t complaining [when Elizabeth didn’t film with us],” Courtney said to Us. “For me, the goal was to have that dialog. And I if truth be told sought after to return at it from an overly roughly figuring out position.”
Courtney hinted that she wasn’t in a position to figure out her variations with Elizabeth when they after all met face to face, adding, “There’s handiest so much you'll do. If the individual you’re looking to have that mature conversation with provides 0 responsibility you then more or less succeed in the top of hoping for the rest.”
Courtney isn’t the only one who chooses to address their issues on screen. Victoria, 30, opened as much as Us about her upcoming dialog with Elizabeth, which didn’t seem very pleasant.
“I heard issues being said about me, which you’ll later to find out. But I don’t recognize other folks talking about me in the event that they don’t even know me,” she hinted. “So it does get a little bit bit dramatic between Elizabeth and I in addition to you’ve seen on the teaser. True colours do show, so that you’ll see much more of that.”

Not every solid member, then again, selected sides. Dillon, 45, and Teri said their method was no longer forming an opinion based on other people’s experiences.
“You indisputably sense within the show that there’s this department, especially in the team that is against Elizabeth within the display. But we’re lovely neutral on this at this point as a result of we don’t know sufficient,” Dillon explained to Us. “We haven’t frolicked sufficient. We don’t have any animosity or the rest towards Elizabeth. But in the scenes we filmed the place she was in the room or came to positive purposes, we undoubtedly felt the strain in the air. No doubt about that.”
Teri noted that the same rule implemented once Armie used to be brought up, pronouncing, “I feel it’s a personal topic and it in point of fact doesn’t contain us and it’s not really our trade to touch upon it. So we didn’t truly need to be interested in that conversation too much. We didn’t actually feel like commenting or putting ourselves into that state of affairs.”

Despite the noticeable onscreen rift, Elizabeth instructed Us that she learned a lot while filming Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise.

“I might say definitely this is not my reality. This display isn't my reality that exists for me on my day-to-day basis. My daily is flying out and in doing my other display with my kids. But it was once amusing,” she shared. “I think the lesson is, ‘Be true to your self and don’t do the rest or say anything that you will regret.’ Of course, that’s no longer essentially what’s all the time shown on display screen, however in the long run it’s simply realizing your self and having the ones boundaries and being original in the procedure.”
